Maybe I will try and stay with you again, probably not. A holiday weekend and opening weekend NO ONE should have an experience like this. Take a look at the AC LINE UP and staff accordingly for the crowd. Do yourselves a favor and hire more housekeeping and train your staff in hospitality. I loved Revel, and this place has A LOT of work to do to get to that satisfaction. THIS IS OPENING WEEKEND THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! I hope that the new Ocean Resort can get its act together. In my other room, where my friends were staying, there was rotten food in the fridge and hair all over the bathroom. Go up to my suite which is not adjoined or even near my other room, and there is a wet stain on the floor and the room looks like it was barely cleaned. Ok so here I am with my rooms finally ready after I threaten to cancel. No comps offered, a beverage while I wait, you would think they were doing me a favor cleaning a room for me. NOTHING WAS DONE TO ACCOMMODATE THIS MAN AND THEY LET HIM WALK AWAY!!! This is unheard of in the hospitality world. Well this infuriated the man and he requested to cancel his room. The rep then tells him his room has been ready for 3 hours. BUT WAIT YOU COULD STILL BOOK A ROOM ONLINE! The place couldn't even accommodate their current guests! While waiting for my room at the counter a man was speaking about how he tried to check in earlier and the rep said they would call him when it was ready, no call. People standing at the counter waiting and waiting for a room to be ready. The staff looked drained as I can imagine, only 8 people on checking in while the line is wrapped around the lobby. I tried to check in at 12 pm and was patient then, at 8:30 pm I am not patient. Speaking to the manager on staff was useless. TWO ROOMS BOOKED, ONE A SUITE AND NEITHER ARE READY AT 8:30 PM!!! That was a joke. Then to be told at 8:30 PM that my room is not ready yet. Check in was a nightmare, I will repeat nightmare! took 2 1/2 hours to wait in line to get to the front counter. As a customer of Revel, the place is just as beautiful as it was left.
